Inspire your desires

boudoir los angeles

I’ve been locked up retouching for the last couple weeks. I think I’ve retouched around 150 photos in the last two weeks and although I do love retouching my own boudoir photos, I could use a break and so could my eyes. I think one of the hardest things as a business owner is deciding what tasks to outsource and what to keep for yourself. I know I would be shooting A LOT more if I could let this go, but I just can’t, not yet, maybe not ever.

There’s just something I love about watching my photos transform into art before my eyes. I’ve been professionally retouching for 10 years and  I’m fast, I’m good and I just get better everyday. I think training someone to see what I see is half the battle. The other half is giving my creative process up and that’s something very near and dear to my heart. Photoshop is a beast and I’m in love with the damn beast. It’s taken me a long time to get the beast to do what I want and really the sky is the limit with all the brilliant things she can do. So for now,  I’m just going to rock on with my cup of joe, my loud dance music and all these dressed to thrill sexy ladies!

If you follow my blog you’ve have been seeing these sexy boudoir dungeon photos pop up more and more. I think this dungeon has really made me see how fun it is to explore a more intimate side of photography. I just love the idea of women doing something outside their comfort zone.

I would much rather live on the bold and audacious side of life and as I continue to explore my sexuality and what it means to me to be a women in her 30’s; the more accepting I am to my desires. I am loving and embracing it and so is my art. I know not everyone is going to love what I do or appreciate it, but that’s perfectly ok. Love me or hate me, I am who I am.

Here’s a fun fact. 70% of women miss dirty sex and are afraid to tell their partners about it. Having a boudoir state of mind means embracing what you want, who you are and not being afraid to ask for whatever it is you fancy. If that starts with a boudoir session, so be it. I’m thrilled to inspire your desires!
