I am so excited to be sharing the stunning photos with you today! It’s not often that I get to share my beautiful work due the intimate nature of what I create, most want to keep it private. It’s an interesting thing to have a gorgeous portfolio of beautiful boudoir photography that will never be seen by the public eye, so when a client lets me share, I’m over the moon, so thank you my dear Shalaina for allowing me to do so!
This little lady is a fire ball! She is so full of light and love and every photo I shot I was just dying over. What a dream! Look at those sparkling eyes, no wonder she just just swept up and proposed to on a romantic holiday in Venice. What a luck guy!
When Shalaina walked in my door with her big smile and her cute little laugh I knew we were in for a fun day. She was doing this boudoir shoot for her boyfriend, now fiancé’s special birthday gift. During the shoot she happened to mention that her boyfriend was a very well known and respected art collector. Let’s just say not your average one, but one that travels around the world searching for the best of the best. Naturally, I had a mini jolt to my system and I was kicked into high gear, haha.
Fast forward to her viewing session. We could hardly narrow them down and she was leaving for Europe in less than a week. She decided to get on of my lovely boudoir albums and four of her favorite prints, and gift them to him on his birthday in Venice. I printed, mounted and matted in her prints in three days, and off she went with four 16×20 prints in her suite case for two weeks.
Let’s just say he loved them so much, he had t have them bigger. I call that a happy client!
I just adore this beautiful women and she is living the life of her dreams and I’m so excited for the amazing adventures that are ahead of her!
Enjoy these beautiful intimate portraits, as they were not meant to be seen by all, they were meant for her special one
It’s possible I have a sexy legs fetish. I blame my mother and all the Miss Universe, Miss America, and Miss everything she made me watch and she would analyze every contestant and the perfect body was engrained into my cortex. My mother was also a dancer as was I so the appreciation for GREAT legs is just something I can’t help but notice. Ok her Butt is pretty AMAZING too!
Dance, Dance, Dance, Wherever you may be!
I have to be honest, these last few weeks have just FLOWN by for me. Now that I have the opportunity to shoot in the studio of my dreams, there isn’t a day that I don’t leap out of bed with excitement. Not only that, the days themselves race by me in a blur. Between shooting and marketing and post-production and working on my e-book, there rarely seems a minute to do anything else.
One of the great things about pursuing your passion is that if you want it to work, you’ll have to do it all the time…or, better put, you get to do it all the time. You lose sleep, you miss meals, your friends wonder what’s happened to you…
But it’s in the midst of all of this insanity that I have to remind myself to stay centered, to realize that where I’m at today comes from years of effort and diligence, and sometimes even hardship. And so, when I look around me now, I have to make it a point to be grateful, to recognize and appreciate the beauty and the joy that has come into my life.
When things are going well for us sometimes it’s easy to just get complacent, to look at all the good things around us and not see them for the beautiful gifts that they are. When we’re rushing around and everything is chaos, that’s when it’s the most important to take a moment to just be grateful, to look around you and thing, wow, look where I’m at, look at all the people who’ve stood by my side to support me…
Being grateful also allows you to prepare a space in your life for what’s on the upcoming horizon. Instead of being anxious about the future, we can be at peace knowing that everything we’re experiencing now is simply preparing us for what’s just ahead.
Life is an incredible journey, and you shouldn’t waste a single moment doing something which makes you unhappy, if there’s an opportunity to do something that brings you joy and fulfillment, that makes you grateful.
Because today, that’s what I am, grateful.
No Place for Fear in Your Photography Business
The only thing separating you from the life you’ve always dreamt of is YOU.
It’s not your bank account, your family, your past, your friends, or anything else that you can think of. The only one standing in the way of your success is you, and your fear of your own greatness.
There’s something inherent in all of us, especially in women, but we do so many things to make ourselves seem smaller, less significant. We apologize forty times a day for things we have no need to apologize for, we step aside and let others take the glory (even if we’ve done most of the work), and we put our dreams on hold because we’re “not pretty enough” or “not smart enough” or in our own eyes just simply “not enough.”
But here’s the truth, ladies and gentleman. You are enough. Once you start truly believing that there is nothing on earth that has any likelihood of standing in your way, nothing will.
Think back to the first time you held a camera in your hands. Each of our stories is different, but if you consider yourself a photographer, then you know the connection you feel with that piece of equipment and your personal creativity. Over time you gained confidence, started to build up your portfolio, and maybe even found a few clients.
But something has happened recently. You’ve hit a wall, afraid to take the necessary steps to promote your business and find more clients, afraid to put yourself out there because you might fail at it…or even worse, you might succeed.
Did you hear me?? You might succeed.
I encourage you to silence those negative voices in your mind and embrace the gift that you’ve been given. Tell yourself, “I will not be afraid. There’s no place for fear in my photography business.”
No place for fear at all.
